Acquisition for Nieuw Prinsenland in full swing

22 May 2012
The hub of the green economy. That's the ambition set for the Nieuw Prinsenland business park next to the Suiker Unie sugar factory in Dinteloord. The acquisition of businesses for the site is in full swing. An information day and tour will be organised on Tuesday 12 June for businesses interested in locating on the site.
Suiker Unie has engaged REWIN West-Brabant to attract businesses to the Agro & Food Cluster Nieuw Prinsenland. The development company is strengthening the regional economy by encouraging national and international businesses to invest in the southwest of the Netherlands. "Projects such as Nieuw Prinsenland will benefit from all the activities we have been successfully carrying out for the past 25 years," says acquisition manager Guido van Liefland. “We are constantly looking for businesses that might want to move to the region. We are in concrete talks with nearly 20 parties at the moment.” For more information, see www.rewin.nl
Nieuw Prinsenland is a joint initiative of Suiker Unie and the horticultural development organisation Tuinbouw Ontwikkeling Maatschappij (TOM). A 310-hectare greenhouse area and a 70-hectare business park are being built next to the sugar factory in Dinteloord. Nieuw Prinsenland is a pioneer in sustainable production, profitable symbiosis and corporate cooperation. It is also a leader in the biobased economy, in which biomass is the raw material for all manner of food and non-food applications. Nieuw Prinsenland is a seamless match to Cosun's ambition of being at the forefront in corporate sustainability.
